A major new project is to support new premises in Ku-ring-gai for the State Emergency Service and the Rural Fire Service. See details of the project at http://www.planbig.com.au/New-HQ-for-Ku-ring-gai-SES-and-Bush-Fire-Brigade Ku-ring-gai Business Forum is an initiative of Ku-ring-gai Financial Services Limited. The aims of the Forum are to foster networking and provide an opportunity to discuss commercial opportunities and issues facing the local business community.
In addition, our well-established Youth Observer Program provides Year 11 students with an opportunity to gain exposure and insights into the running of a small public company – from within our Boardroom. In 2011, in conjunction with our proposed new branch in Lindfield, two students from Killara High School have joined two students from Turramurra High school. This program also encourages and helps to prepare the participants to serve their community on a voluntary basis in the future and develops a stronger sense of community spirit.
